As a music education nonprofit in Virginia, Soundscapes believes every young person deserves the opportunity to discover their potential through music. We provide accessible, high-quality music programs that help students build confidence, develop essential life skills, and experience the joy of belonging to a creative community. From after-school instruction and youth ensembles to performances and mentorship from professional teaching artists, our programs empower students to grow as musicians, leaders, and individuals. Together with families, schools, volunteers, and community partners, we’re creating opportunities that extend far beyond the stage and inspire brighter futures for the next generation.

Canadian Brass Holiday Concert Featuring PYO
Brilliant brass music and season favorites to fill your heart with cheer!Canadian Brass has been making spirits bright for more than 50 years! Experience the warmth and festive spirit of the holidays in an unforgettable evening of brilliant brass music and classic season favorites. Peninsula Youth Orchestra will join them on stage for part of the show, and a portion of ticket sale proceeds will be donated to Soundscapes!
